Outlook folder not updating
"Pegasus (MVP)" I am having the same exact problem here, for one of my users, they were on 2000 outlook, i upgraded and removed profile and added it back after installing 2003 and it worked fine.
I then uninstalled 2003 and ran the setup again and chose complete install and everything was fine except for the outbox not updating until that folder or another folder or any email message is clicked on.
I'm guessing that these folders must have been created in my Profile on the server.
Question How can I get Outlook to create these folders again? I'm assuming this is an exchange account as you refer to a server?
Groups received a lot of attention from Microsoft at the recent Ignite conference in Chicago.
Positioned as a single identity that enables group members to access resources drawn from across Office 365, these groups are also regarded as a potential migration path for traditional Exchange resources such as distribution groups and public folders.
Hi Pegasus Shoulda said in my previous post about Outlook 2002 (wont have cached mode) Therefore I would check the IPconfig /all of a working pc and a non working pc, mainly looking at DNS settings pointing to Server.
When someone sends them a new message then it will not become visible until they click the Inbox.
You may be able to find the email address for a public folder by looking in the To field of messages in the public folder.
I found this issue would only happen on Windows Vista and Windows 7.
I found that it was a problem with the TCP Auto Tuning, apparently this problem occurs if a network hardware device, such as a router, does not support TCP Window Scaling.disabled: This setting as used above uses a fixed value for tcp.
The Problem After reinstall Outlook is syncing emails.
But it is not creating these folders automatically.
